Sometimes an MP3 sermon will appear on the site as a silent or very very quiet audio. This is almost always the result of a process called phase cancellation or phasing in which one of the stereo channels actually cancels out the other when converted to MONO on the site.
In an effort to ensure a consistent user experience, all audio on SermonAudio is converted to MONO (same sound in both speakers or headphones) as a part of the posting process.
We recommend that all audio loaded to the site be recorded in or converted to MONO before upload.
If you have a current sermon with this problem you can simply convert it to MONO and re-upload from the dashboard itself. For more help with uploading here is a helpful quick tutorial.
